Food holidays in different countries
The first thing that springs to mind when you think of holidays is…food. It’s hard to envision any celebration without food. But some went further and set aside some days (a lot of days, actually) to celebrate food itself. Indeed, no one would argue that food itself is worth celebrating. So, here’s a list of days designated by different countries to celebrate, commemorate or acknowledge certain types of food and dishes.
