Paramedics' Day or Medical Rescue Day (Dzień Ratownictwa Medycznego) - a celebration of Polish emergency medical services, celebrated for the first time on October 13, 2006 in Wyszków, Mazowieckie Province.
It was established by the Act of September 8, 2006 on the State Emergency Medical Services. This day is not a day off from work. The patron of this annual festival is Blessed Gerard Tonque.
