November 4 is National Symbols Day in Panama, which represents the culture and history of all Panamanians.
As every year, many Panamanians join on November 4 to celebrate National Symbols Day, which was established by Law 34 of 1949, when the Panamanian State adopted as patriotic symbols the National Flag, the National Emblem and the National Anthem.
On January 23, 2012, the National Assembly approved Law 2, which amends Law 34 (enacted in 1949) and establishes in Article 51 that every November 4 will be celebrated as a Day of Celebration, Commemoration and Remembrance of National Patriotic Symbols.
