Robert Baden Powell was the man who founded the Scout movement more than 100 years ago. Robert Baden-Powell was popularly known as B-P. Olave St Clair Baden-Powell, Baroness Baden-Powell GBE (née Soames; 22 February 1889 – 25 June 1977) was the first Chief Guide for Britain and the wife of Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting and co-founder of Girl Guides. A lot of children join the scouts and girl guides club when they start going to school or when they start growing up.
