November is a month known for the pleasure of eating and is the ideal month to raise awareness about gastric cancer. There is a great deal of focus on food, nourishment, and family during the holidays. It can be challenging for people dealing with stomach cancer, especially for those living without a stomach.
On November 30th, 2016 My Gut Feeling celebrated the first Stomach Cancer Awareness Day with #MGF365, a social media campaign aimed at raising awareness about stomach cancer anywhere in the world. The participation was incredible!
In 2017, this awareness initiative lit up Canada; landmarks in Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax, all lit up in periwinkle blue to raise awareness for Stomach Cancer.
