Israel contains a collectivist society in which the group, especially the family, is value more than its individual members. Israelis enjoy sharing life with their family and friends and are quick to offer help to those in need. Israelis are generally dedicated to their culture and state.
In 2018, the average gross money income per household with children was NIS 24,872 per month. In 2019 there were approximately 2.14 million families in Israel, compared with 1.80 million in 2010. The average size of the Israeli family was 3.72 persons, the same as a decade ago. The average number of persons per family increases concomitantly with higher levels of religiosity, however, the gap between the religious and secular among Jewish families is higher than the gap among Arab families.
