With March 20th being the first day of spring, what a better day than March 21st to celebrate World Planting Day! Trees are incredibly important for a variety of reasons, and World Planting Day is an excellent opportunity to take it upon yourself to plant a tree and have a lasting impact on our planet!
You may think there is nothing much to the plants and trees that are around us every day but they are vital for life and our long-term survival. Plants are an essential resource - we rely on them for food, water, medicine, the air we breathe, habitat, our climate and more.
