The day was established to highlight the importance of pets in a person's life and to celebrate the joy that pets bring to our lives.
Cats spend approximately 50% of their waking hours grooming themselves. 75% of pet owners celebrate their dog's birthday. Cats, dogs, birds, fish and hamsters … we love them all! To celebrate World Pet's Day—show your pets some love.
