Togo is in West Africa. Fazao-Malfakassa National Park is Togo's largest national park. Lomé is the capital and largest city of Togo. It has been the centre of commerce, administration and transportation in the country for over a century despite being located in the extreme southwestern corner of the country. It has an urban population of 837,437 while there were 1,477,660 permanent residents in its metropolitan area as of the 2010 census.
