Model Day and National Hotel Day in Brazil

The dream of being a famous model, leading a glamorous life and being recognized by everyone fills the minds of many girls (and boys!) in Brazil.

Examples of people from the land who are part of the casting of powerful modeling agencies and who have gained fame and money through this profession make it seem easy to reach. Today we celebrate Model Day! Model is that fashion professional who poses for photographers and also painters, making numerous poses, serving as a model for photographs, paintings and even to promote products and services in television commercials.

The Federal Senate promoted a session in honor of Hotelier Day. November 9 was chosen as the date to celebrate the hotel sector because on that day, in 1936, the 1st National Hotel Congress was opened, the embryo of the Brazilian Association of the Hotel Industry, whose 85 years were also celebrated in the session. The meeting also celebrated the recent resumption of tourism in Brazil, with the successful vaccination of the population and the reduction in the number of cases of covid-19.
