National Telecommunications Day in Argentina

On July 13, the National Telecommunications Day is celebrated in Argentina, in memory of the date on which the telephone cooperatives obtained the licenses and positioned themselves on equal terms with other national and international service providers. Technological advances have accompanied the demands of the population throughout history, facilitating access and transmission of information, as well as immediate communication, improving people's quality of life.

Currently, telecommunications play a fundamental role in our society. For this reason, they are considered a universal service since all people have the right to access them equally, regardless of their income level and geographic location.
