August 10 in Sanluri celebrates the protector of booksellers, librarians, cooks, confectioners, permanent deacons, glass workers and firefighters. To remember these events, three churches were erected in Rome: San Lorenzo in Fonte (place of imprisonment), San Lorenzo in Panisperna (place of martyrdom) and San Lorenzo al Verano (place of his burial). The liturgical celebration of St. Lawrence occurs on 10 August and his emblem is the grill.
As every year, according to the best tradition, on May 31 the Patron Saint of Sanluri is celebrated, giving life to a day of initiatives, centered on the solemn liturgical celebration in honor of Our Lady of Grace.
