Every March 24 is celebrated in Colombia, the National Announcer's Day, a date that allows exalting the work of the country's announcers, great talents who, with their voices, allow audiences to spread emotions and bring stories to life. This celebration has an interesting nuance because that day, according to Christian tradition, was when the archangel Saint Gabriel announced the birth of Jesus to the Virgin Mary, that is, 9 months later Christmas is celebrated. As this is the origin of the celebration, the archangel Saint Gabriel is also the patron saint of announcers in Colombia.
