In order to promote the so-called white sport around the world, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) created a promotional initiative to celebrate "World Tennis Day" on March 4, 2013. To this end, several high-flying exhibitions are held annually throughout the world.
The organization's idea is that its 210 member national associations and federations will participate in the commemoration of this day as part of a campaign to promote the game of rackets.
