The National Public Accountant's Day is celebrated on December 17 in Argentina because on a day like today, but in 1494, the book Sum of Arithmetic, Geometry, Proportion and Proportionality was published, where Luca Pacioli describes the double entry method, which is the basis of Accounting.
The text of the Italian Franciscan friar and mathematician Luca Pacioli described the double entry method and pointed out, for example, that if there was a debtor there was necessarily a creditor or that the sums of one side and the other should give equal totals, among other principles that served as the basis for today's accounting.
