As a job full of risks and feared, this could be defined as the work of the Police; and every day these men and women who make up the various security forces face endless dangers. Since 1944, every July 16 is commemorated in Venezuela the National Police Day, in recognition of the work of citizen security and prevention carried out by the uniformed officers.
This day is celebrated in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, patron saint of the Venezuelan Army and Police.
The police is a security force in charge of maintaining public order and safeguarding citizens. The experiences they live every day indicate that it is not easy to be a policeman.
