This event aims to raise awareness about the importance of cancer research in order to increase survival. Did you know that cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world and that every year it causes 10 million deaths?
For this reason, today September 24 was established as World Cancer Research Day.
In addition, this day also seeks to support and promote research into the origins or causes, prevention and early detection of cancer as a key element in the control of the disease, which will lead to the discovery of a cure for cancer or to transform it into a chronic disease.
