International Podcast Day

The Internet has changed almost everything it has touched since its inception and the way we send and receive information, from written to video. Radio has not been immune to this change either, as streaming radio becomes increasingly popular and 'local radio' takes on a whole new meaning.

Out of this paradigm shift has come a new image of an old idea, radio broadcasts and, more specifically, radio talk shows/radio dramas. International Podcast Day celebrates this innovation and all the wonderful things that have come from it.

On September 30 every year we celebrate International Podcast Day, which since 2014 has been growing tremendously in number of followers around the world and aims to raise awareness of the power of podcasting in the transmission of knowledge and entertainment.
