International Jeweler and Watchmaker Day

The jeweler is a professional dedicated to the manufacture, repair and marketing of jewelry. Jewelry is both the production of jewelry and its trade as well as the place where it is put on sale. The origin of the Jeweler's and Watchmaker's Day is found in the commemoration of the birth of Benvenuto Cellini, November 3, 1500. Cellini was a great sculptor and jeweler who created important works such as the crucifix that Francis de Medici gave to Philip II in 1576.
