Argentina's Anti-Obesity Day is celebrated in the country on November 12. In some places it is also celebrated on October 11, with the aim of making people aware of the terrible damage caused to the body by a diet high in fat and sugars.
Obesity and overweight are usually the result of an imbalance between calories ingested and calories expended, and are characterized by the abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat in the human body.
