Andalusia Flag Day

The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, announced during his speech at the control session of the Andalusian Parliament that soon the Governing Council will approve a decree law to establish December 4 as the Day of the Flag of Andalusia.

Moreno said that December 4, 1977 was a landmark day in the history of Andalusia, since that day thousands of Andalusians took to the streets to demand Autonomy.

"From that day I remain with the unity of the Andalusians and their nonconformism, with that spirit of unity and ambition we are going to declare December 4 as the Day of the Flag of Andalusia," he said.

The president of the Junta de Andalucía has explained that the Andalusian autonomic process has two important dates: "December 4, 1977 and February 28, 1980". For its commemoration, educational, cultural and institutional activities will be promoted.
