The professional holiday was established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine from November 28, 2020 ¹ 523/2020.
"Taking into account the significant contribution of employees of the financial monitoring system in affirming the status of Ukraine as a reliable partner of the international community in the sphere of prevention and counteraction to legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime, financing of terrorism and financing weapons of mass destruction proliferation, in support of the initiative of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine and the public I resolve to establish in Ukraine professional holiday - Day of the employee of financial monitoring system, which is celebrated annually on November 28, "- said in the presidential decree.
