Patronal Feast in honor of San Juan de Sahagun

From June 10 to 13, the Patron Saint Festival is held in honor of the Patron Saint San Juan de Sahagún, where there is no shortage of traditional bull runs, concerts and various activities to the delight of the Peñas and the general public. June 12 is the feast of the patron saint San Juan de Sahagún, which is commemorated with a solemn mass concelebrated by several priests.

The most characteristic elements of the festivities in honor of San Juan de Sahagún are the running of the bulls, the bullfighting contest and the bullfights. The town of Sahagún in Leon does not begin its festivities until the traditional chupinazo, when the big days officially begin.
