Established on September 21, 1941 - as a result of the foundation of the Obra Social de la Asociación de Trabajadores de la Sanidad Argentina - today we commemorate the Sanitation Day, a date that celebrates the daily work of health workers in Argentina.
On September 21, 1935, the Asociación del Personal de Hospitales y Sanatorios Particulares was created in the City of Buenos Aires in order to recognize the labor rights of the workers of the sector. Also on September 21, but in 1941, the Obra Social del Personal de la Sanidad Argentina was founded, being officially declared as the Healthcare Day in Argentina.
