Frankfurt Museumsuferfest

Frankfurt celebrates its museums and its river for three days in a unique combination of art and culture, music and gastronomy right on the Main in the heart of the city against the wonderful backdrop of the Frankfurt skyline. With around 3 million visitors, the extraordinary program offered by Frankfurt's museums, numerous stage productions and stagings, the Museumsuferfest is one of Europe's largest cultural festivals.

The museums offer workshops and guided tours for a wide range of target groups and interests. Even the youngest visitors are catered for with projects and programs specially tailored to them. While the surrounding museums have their doors wide open, there is dancing, eating and drinking in the open air on the banks of the Main: culinary specialties from all over the world tantalize the palate and the festival's stages feature mainly regional bands, dance groups, sports clubs and artists.
