Vogteifest in Burbach

The Heimatverein Alte Vogtei and the Alte Vogtei Burbach offer many program points and lots of treats this weekend, such as the Burbacher Däggelsbläddze baked on homemade cannon ovens

So the museum festival has become the Vogteifest - and that sums up the difference. Because the basic concept of the popular village festival in the historic town center between the Römer and the Vogtei has remained the same. A varied mix of music, market activities and culinary offerings is intended to strengthen the sense of community in Burbach. The "new" Alte Vogtei, including the tithe barn, new bakery and forecourt, is a symbolic meeting place at the heart of the event, which also extends from Haus Herbig to Haus Dilthey, the two properties owned by the Heimatverein that complete the historic ensemble of buildings on Jägerstraße that characterize the town.

The art and crafts market associated with the Vogteifest boasts a wide range of different stalls. The open smithy, the Römergalerie with a hands-on exhibition and book flea market, face painting and hands-on activities for the little ones and walking acts are particularly inviting for families.
