Little Festival in the Great Garden

The heart of the festival will be the Great Fountain. Here there is plenty of space for shared experiences and gastronomy. One of the highlights of Hanover's cultural year is certainly the "Small Festival in the Great Garden", where the baroque gardens become the stage for a number of small artists.

Harald Böhlmann, who invented the Little Festival in 1986 and planned and managed it for 38 years, leaves behind an internationally renowned festival whose success story is unique not only in the cabaret scene.

This summer, around 150 artists from all over the world - more than ever before - will perform in Herrenhausen on more than 40 stages and squares, between hedges, bosquet gardens and ponds. Grandiose cabaret with masks, magicians, artists and comedians, puppetry, pantomime, music, dance, ballads, clowning and much more can be experienced in the famous baroque garden.
