The Minden May Fair has a long tradition and dates back to 1279. Originally it was a cattle market, but over the centuries it developed into a folk festival with fairground rides, stalls and an entertainment program.
Today, the Minden May Fair is one of the largest and most popular folk festivals in the region. It takes place every year in May on Kanzlers Weide and attracts thousands of visitors from near and far. Around 100 showmen provide a varied program for the whole family with their rides, stalls and stands.
Rides: Break Dance, Musik Express, Disco Swing, Venturer Simulator, Europa Rad, Air Gate, Pit Stop, Rocket and Zombie - The Ghost Train.
