National Day of Remembrance of the Warsaw Uprising in Poland is a public holiday dedicated to the events of World War II, celebrated annually since 2010. It is not a non-working day in the country. Every year on August 1 at 5 pm, all of Warsaw stops for a minute to honor the memory of those who died during the Warsaw Uprising.
