In 2018, the average gross money income per household with children was NIS 24,872 per month. In 2019 there were approximately 2.14 million families in Israel, compared with 1.80 million in 2010. The average size of the Israeli family was 3.72 persons, the same as a decade ago. The average number of persons per family increases concomitantly with higher levels of religiosity, however, the gap between the religious and secular among Jewish families is higher than the gap among Arab families.
