On June 1, 2021, all of 308 people's deputies in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted on the draft resolution "On commemorating the memory of children who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine." The memorable date is now observed annually on June 4th.
According to official data, since 2014, due to Russian military aggression in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, more than 240 children have died, 56 have gone missing, and between 167 and 500 minors were injured. The unofficial number is three times more. However, as of 2021, Russia's criminal war against Ukraine is not over yet, and how many children may still suffer from it is unknown. We remind you that war crimes have no statute of limitations. Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten, at least for the people of Ukraine and the rest of civilized world.
