This date marks the founding of the Pan-American Union of Engineers' Associations in 27 countries of the American continent, also the union and integration of professionals in the search for the standardization of actions and practices of engineers in the Americas. The Pan-American Day of the Engineer was created to commemorate the date of foundation of the Pan-American Union of Engineers' Associations, on July 20th, 1949.
In Brazil and throughout the continent, there are thousands of engineers working towards the future!
The date highlights the commitment of Latin American professionals for an engineering increasingly committed to technological, economic and social development.
