Minions are an all-male species of fictional yellow creatures that appear in Illumination's Despicable Me franchise. They are characterized by their childlike behavior and their language, which is largely unintelligible. The Minions speak Minionese, sometimes called “the Banana language”. Minionese is what's known as a constructed language – or “conlang”. Conlangs are often a feature of works of fantasy and science fiction.
Kids and adults have a great time dressing up for Minion Day. It is held on different days in different countries and even in different cities. In Japan it is March 20. It's a really fun event.
