Fuente Álamo celebrates today the Day of the Villa (Día de la Villa), in which all the fuentealameros remember the constitution of Fuente Álamo as a municipality on July 20, 1700, after years of litigation with the three Councils to which it belonged at that time: Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca.
Fuente Álamo de Murcia is a Spanish town and municipality belonging to the Region of Murcia, located in the natural region of Campo de Cartagena. It has a deep-rooted agricultural and livestock tradition, industrial activity centered on the Fuente Álamo and La Candelaria Technology Park, as well as residential tourism.
