December 6 is celebrated as Radio and Television Producer's Day in Argentina in honor of the birth, in 1912, of journalist, host and pioneer of Argentine radio and television, Paloma Efrón, better known as "Blackie".
"Blackie" was the doyenne of live journalists, with Cita con las estrellas, which led her to direct Canal 7 with Cecilio Madanes. She also worked in the production of programs such as Odol Pregunta or Titanes en el ring. She was part of Tato Bores, Diálogos con Blackie, La mujer y la tarde, and Domingos estelares, among many others.
