The Fusion Festival is a German music festival for electronic, indie, rock and pop music with cultural accompaniment such as theater, art installations and performance art.
Far away from everyday life, a very special kind of parallel society is created for five days. In a collective state of emergency, a carnival of the senses unfolds in a place without time, reflecting the longing for a better world.
It has been held every summer since 1997 at the former military airfield in Lärz near Lake Müritz (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania). It usually lasts several days (until Sunday) and attracts around 70,000 visitors.
