Funfair in Neunkirchen-Furpach

Furpach is a ten-minute drive from the center of Neunkirchen. Furpach, known as Haus Furpach until 1975, is a district of Neunkirchen (Saar) to the south-east of the city center, which, like the neighbouring districts of Kohlhof and Ludwigsthal, is now used for residential purposes.

It's that time again! Due to the funfair, the street Zur Ewigkeit will be closed to vehicle traffic in the area of the square from Friday morning until the end of the event. The usual weekly market will also take place in this area on Friday.

Furpach is also home to the Robinson village for the city recreation for children and young people. The Kasbruch nature reserve was established in 1998 in the forest area between Furpach, Ludwigsthal, Wellesweiler and Neunkirchen.
