The Festival im Vogelviertel is a vibrant and colorful event that transports you to extraordinary soundscapes from the Middle East and brings people from different cultures together. Three ensembles present the exciting interplay of Orient and Occident in the open air - from traditional arrangements to atmospheric electronics. The festival takes place in Bielefeld and admission is free.
The festival is made possible by the sponsors of kulturextra and the support of the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is a cooperation project between the Bielefeld Cultural Office, the Bielefeld Welthaus cultural events sustainability advisory office and Kanal 21.
