The Bergstadtfest Freiberg is an annual event that takes place in the town of Freiberg in Saxony, Germany. Program: The festival offers a varied program with 140 program items on 9 stages and experience worlds.
Top-class live acts, music stars and various musical groups perform on the main stage in the beautiful old town in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Wine village: Wine connoisseurs and gourmets can sample fine wines from Saxon, German and international wine-growing regions while enjoying music ranging from pop hits to jazz. In the beer garden on the Untermarkt, visitors can sample Freiberg Premium Pils and other regional beers.
Children's and family world: From clowns and fairy tales to handicrafts and horse riding, there is plenty for children and families to experience.
Irish stage: Here visitors can celebrate with Irish folk music and pub songs.
Big carnival: Around 30 rides and attractions provide fun and thrills.
Youth zone: With tricks and moves on professional ramps, live music from young bands and more.
The Bergstadtfest is a great opportunity to experience the lively tradition, culture and cheerful people of Freiberg. Admission to all events at the Bergstadtfest is free of charge.
