Bremen Garden Week is an annual event that will take place in Bremen from 2021. During this week, garden gates will open all over Bremen, from allotment gardens to private home gardens and community gardens. The event celebrates the diversity of garden culture and has the motto “Edible City”. The various functions of Bremen's home gardens and allotments, parks and cultivated fallow land will be honored. Visitors can discover fruit, vegetables, nuts and edible wild plants and take part in workshops on making wild herb salads. The Bremen Garden Week is organized by the environmental department of the Senator for the Environment, Climate and Science. There is a total of 113 program points at 57 different locations in Bremen on the subject of gardens. A great opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to explore the variety of green oases in the city!
