The Einbeck Owl Festival is a traditional town festival in the historic old town of Einbeck, southern Lower Saxony. The Owl Festival has been held since 1974 and attracts around 100,000 guests every year. The festival begins with the traditional tapping of the winter bock.
Colorful market stalls: There are a variety of market stalls in the historic alleyways of the half-timbered and brewing town of Einbeck.
Musicians perform on various stages during the festival.
Largest town festival in southern Lower Saxony: With its long tradition and large number of visitors, the Eulenfest is the largest town festival in the region.
