Weidener Volksfest: A highlight in the heart of the Upper Palatinate!
Location: Weiden in der Oberpfalz, Bavaria - the festival takes place on the fairground on Conrad-Röntgen-Straße.
Date: In September, for five unforgettable days!
Program: Experience a colorful hustle and bustle with exciting rides, classic shooting galleries and delicious food stalls. Enjoy Bavarian specialties in the traditional festival tent. The opening hours are daily from 14:00 to 24:00. On Thursday the marquee opens at 16:00 and on Sunday a hearty lunch awaits you from 12:00.
Culinary delights: Let yourself be tempted by a variety of delicacies, including crispy pretzels, hearty cheese, juicy Steckerlfisch, tasty Dotsch, sweet candy floss, roasted almonds and delicious gingerbread hearts.
Special feature: The Weidener Volksfest is the perfect opportunity to experience Bavarian traditions up close and have a lot of fun!
