The Düsseldorf Spring Fair, which begins on Friday, the 12th day after Easter, on the picturesque Tonhallenaufer, is one of the city's oldest and most traditional folk festivals. Nestled between the Oberkassel Bridge, the Tonhalle and the NRW-Forum, this event offers an ideal setting for an unforgettable experience.
With over 50 rides and stalls, the spring funfair is one of the largest of its kind in the region. Visitors can look forward to a large Ferris wheel, the speedy “Speedy” rollercoaster, bumper cars and many other classics. The big fireworks display, which lights up the sky over the Rhine in bright colors on Friday evening, is particularly spectacular.
A special highlight for families is Wednesday, when there are special offers and discounts for children. Superheroes such as Spiderman and Batman visit the funfair on this day and provide additional fun for the little guests.
The Spring Fair is not just a festival of rides and games, but also an important part of Düsseldorf's calendar of events. It offers a wide range of entertainment options for all age groups and is a real highlight for the whole family.
