The Whitsun Fair in Bergisch Gladbach is a traditional folk festival that has been celebrated for over 182 years. It takes place annually around Konrad-Adenauer-Platz and the Bergischer Löwen and offers a colorful mix of rides, culinary delights and entertainment for the whole family.
A special highlight is the nostalgic Ferris wheel, which offers a magnificent view over the city, as well as modern attractions such as the “Music Express” and the “Break Dance”. There are special rides for children, such as the piggy train and the children's carousel.
The funfair is not only a place of entertainment, but also a symbol of customs and community. The Bergisch Gladbach Showmen's Association, which was founded in 1994, plays a central role in the organization.
