On the Hamelin Piper Day, June 26th, the anniversary of the children's exodus, special events take place every year under the auspices of the Pied Piper and the Hamelin Museum.
The Pied Piper of Hamelin (Low German: De Röttenfanger vun Hameln) is one of the most famous German sagas. It has been translated into more than 30 languages.
