In Germany, World Children's Day (Weltkindertag) is always celebrated on September 20 of each year. Incidentally, since 2019, World Children's Day has even been a public holiday - but only in the state of Thuringia. The public holiday law in force there was changed in 2019 by the Thuringian state parliament with the votes of the Left, SPD and Greens.
