Verkfræðingafélag Íslands was established in 1912. It is the labour and trade union of engineers in Iceland. Engineering Day has attracted attention and been well attended by VFÍ members and other enthusiasts.
The aim of the Day of Engineering is to introduce engineering and technology, exciting projects and jobs in that field and not least to strengthen connections and cohesion among Icelandic engineers and technicians.
