Thai water buffalo are wide backed and have large, protruding bellies. They have a large boned frame with long legs, and black or dark grey skin. Their horns curve outwards and upwards. Horns of the females tend to be smaller and shorter than those of the males.
The water buffalo is a mammal famous for its strength and reliability. Domestic water buffaloes have been working tirelessly alongside humans for thousands of years. They now spread throughout many parts of the world due to their sheer usefulness in farms and other agricultural industries. Many even view these strong mammals as “living tractors”.
