Ukraine celebrates national armed forces day on December 6th honoring its military. In 2021, Ukraine's Armed Forces, consisting of 246,445 (195,626 military personnel), was the second largest in the region after the Russian Armed Forces.
Russia planned military aggression against Ukraine in advance. Victory of the revolution of dignity was only a convenient pretext.
On December 6, we honour the courageous men and women of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For many years, Ukraine’s brave soldiers have defended Ukraine from Russia’s invasion. They defend the Ukrainian peoples’ inalienable right to live in freedom and build their own common destiny on their own land. They defend their country against the tyranny and brutality of Russian imperialism.
