Memorial Day for Motorcyclists

On this day, there is an unspoken taboo among bikers - not to condemn, not to discuss and not to blame motorists, including those responsible for the accident. It is important to remind everyone to follow the rules of the road.

Day of Remembrance of the dead motorcyclists (bikers), annually celebrated on September 18 in memory of Anna Mishutkin, who died in Simferopol in 2008.

Bikers all over Ukraine supported the idea of making Anna's funeral day an annual day of remembrance for dead bikers. On September 18, bikers organize motorcycle columns along the central streets of cities, light candles in the city center, attend memorial services, and gather near the Monument to the Dead Bikers in Belaya Tserkov. A quiet moment of silence necessarily ends with the roar of powerful engines.
